Today I’m feeling lazy. I wear a pair of Wranglers with the Tyler Childers 9 28 2023 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre Morrison, CO Poster Shirt in other words I will buy this Fendi sandals and a shirt that says “I Love Anna.” It’s by Blumarine and is in reference to the label’s founder Anna Molinari. I was only planning on going to Luar but my friend Lynette Nylander tells me to come to Anna Sui. Before then, we meet at James Veloria, where I spot a pair of baggy camouflage Prada pants. I slip them on and they wriggle down below my hips. Complete with this Louis Vuitton bag, which has become a diaper bag at this point, I look like I am plucked out of Italian Vogue’s “Hollywood Style” shoot by Steven Meisel from the January 2005 issue. After Anna Sui, we go to Thom Browne. Here, I feel a little out of place among all those people in their polished pleated skirts. After the show, I grab an electric CitiBike and head across the bridge to go to Luar. I feel at home again. I’m on a high after seeing the show and wearing this killer look. All is great until I bike home and I am egged by a group of teenagers. So is life. At least they didn’t get yolk on the Prada pants.Day 6

I wear those Tom Ford–era Gucci pants with a Dsquared2 purple cut-off tank top. I’ve been on a Dsquared2 kick lately. They had the most fun graphic tees in the naughties, which were a bit, ahem, naughty. Today, my Dsquared2 tank says, “Teenage Dream.” That’s me, right? I wear my Fendi sandals and a red shoulder bag by Kiko Kostadinov, which is the only new thing I am wearing and the only new thing I am treasuring. I go to Puppets and Puppets but first, I grab a jumbo iced tea from Dunkin’. My friend writer Misty White Sidell, who is sitting across from me at the show, starts recording my perspiring Dunkin’ cup. Weirdly, the accessory is a hit and actually makes it into a Phil Oh photograph.
